Christmas at The Devonshire Sheffield
Even though I’ve heard such good things about The Devonshire Sheffield I’ve only ever managed to pop in for a cocktail. Finally, I got the chance to try them out properly as we were invited to review the Christmas Festive Menu and we already cannot wait to go again. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, it’s such a relaxing, yet fancy vibe where you could easily dress up for a work party, family meal, and it’s definitely romantic enough for two. Mum and I were seated at the huge windows looking out onto the Christmas decorated town. We picked our meals beforehand and with being a professional blog mum, mum knew that we had to order completely different things so we could try the most. This meant that mum went for the Yorkshire Cheddar Fondue, Roast Yorkshire Bronze Turkey, and Christmas Pudding, and I got the Prawn & Crayfish Tail Cocktail, Slow Braised Shin Of Beef, and Chocolate & Raspberry Torte. We were so utterly impressed with everything, we were sharing, saying ‘mmmmm’ a lot, and could not praise them enough for the most magnificent beef we had ever come across. It was shaped almost like a dome and fell apart when you touched it. Like something from a Disney film, it was theatrical, and tasted flipping amazing. My mum doesn’t even like beef, now, she only likes the beef at The Devonshire Sheffield. Everything about our meal was absolutely perfect, we finished absolutely everything and we’ve already been talking to the rest of the family about going back for a festive meal together. The Christmas Festive menu launched on the 14th and is priced at… 2 courses 12pm-3pm £17.95 3 courses £22.95 3 courses & a drinks voucher £26.50 Here’s the full menu!
