Everyone Needs To Try Gousto Box!
With being a household of 6 people, dinner time is no longer enjoyable. My brother doesn’t like the same food as the rest of us, so often him and his girlfriend have to have something different. It means that we haven’t really been having interesting meals, because someone has to cook quick enough to get out of the kitchen so that my brother can cook for them. That means quick things like chips and whatever frozen or a salad and quiche has been our go to lately. Gousto are actually the cheapest recipe box on the market, and as far as I can find, one of the only ones who do a box of 4 meals for 4 people. After looking around I couldn’t get that option on Morrisons or Waitrose which is extremely annoying. I’d love if we could get a box for 7 days to be honest but fresh is best. Recipes change every single week meaning you’ll never be bored of your Gousto box. They also cater for many dietary requirements which is so great to see. For our four meals we picked Cheesy Tuna & Sweetcorn Pasta Bake, Easy Bacon & Mushroom Risotto, Simple King Prawn Garlic & Chilli Linguine, and Simple Smoked Fish Florentine Bake. It’s safe to say that was an amazing food week! My mum and Alfie absolutely loved cooking using the Gousto Box recipes, they said it was funner to try something new, easy to follow, and obviously it all tasted amazing too. Since reviewing this box we’ve actually gone on to get a subscription with Gousto and we’ve had 3 more boxes since! It’s safe to say that we’re definitely converted and now we’ll be having a box a week to try new things, eat better, and help my family to enjoy being in the kitchen again! We’ve also been so inspired by Gousto Box that Alfie and I bought our house a new pan set and knife set at a fancy homeware shop in Sheffield. My dad has ALWAYS talked about having a really fancy knife set, and he was so excited to use them that he cut himself! I’m laughing but it was only a little nip so that’s fine. Gousto boxes are also great for people who have chronic pain conditions. My mum usually complains about cooking but now she’s actually looking forward to it. She gets excited when the box arrives and she gets to sort out her little minis for the recipes (as everything comes in the exact amounts you need, meaning cute mini things), and she’s excited to pick what to cook first.
